Since its inception in Tammuz of 2007, the Chabad Jewish Community Center of Cancun has been providing critical educational, social, and cultural programs for the Cancun local and visiting Jewish community. Highlighted by The Shul, Gan Chabad, Torah classes, Hebrew School and Camp Gan Israel. With its warm and inviting approach, Chabad is a place where people from all walks of life - regardless of background, affiliation, or level of observance - feel welcomed and at home.
How does the Campaign work?
Running an operation like Chabad Jewish Center of Cancun requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbi and Rebbetzin work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad center can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the people that we serve. To that end, we are reaching out to the friends and partners of Chabad Jewish center to participate in our expansion.
